Compatriots in Spain have prepared an extensive program of celebrating the Day of Russia, according to the Russian School No. 1 in Marbella on Facebook. This was reported at a press conference held the day before. Guests are invited on June 12 to the Marbella embankment, the celebration is organized by local authorities and representatives of the Russian community.

A concert, master classes in the Russian language, mathematics, and the Russian folk decorative art are planned. Everyone will be able to try to make a kokoshnik and gingerbread, paint a nesting doll, learn Russian songs and join the round dance.

Places associated with Russia will be marked on an interactive map of the world. It will be possible to learn more about the Russian sights and take a virtual trip around Moscow with a QR code.

As Russkiy Mir reported earlier, Russians in Turkey are holding a series of events for the Day of Russia. It includes a conference, regional presentations,  and a festival.
