1st female astronaut from UAE to study Russian

The 1st woman astronaut from the Muslim country,  Nora Al Matrooshi, is going to learn Russian, Islam.ru reports. She was selected to the United Arab Emirates astronaut team. Together with her, Muhammad al-Mulla is preparing for the flight.
 
To get into orbit, they will have to train on a very extensive program. It is planned that they will study for at least 3 years. Future astronauts will start training at home. Then they will have a 30-month course at the NASA Space Center in Houston.

Then the astronaut selected for the next space mission will undergo special training, which usually lasts from 6 months to a year.
 
Only 65 women from all over the world have traveled to space, and 27-year-old Nura al-Matrushi is on her way to becoming the 66th.
