Argentine President explained mild course of his illness with Sputnik V vaccination

Argentine President Alberto Fernandez explained the mild couse of his illness with Sputnik V vaccination. According to him, after 12 days in isolation, doctors stated that the head of state had recovered, TASS reports.

The president admitted that it was not possible to find out where he contracted the disease. Already on Thursday, April 15, he begins to perform his duties as before.

Alberto Fernandez was vaccinated in January. He expressed gratitude to the creators of the vaccine and everyone who brought the drug to the country. He also thanked Argentine medics for their dedicated work.

The Russian Center, opened by the Russkiy Mir Foundation in Buenos Aires, helped to get Sputnik V approved for use in Argentina. 

Argentina began vaccination against coronavirus with Sputnik V on December 29. The vaccine was delivered to all regions of the Latin American country.
