Victory Dictation action opens registration

Registration for the Victory Dictation action, which will take place on April 29 in Russia and abroad for the 3rd time, opens on April 1. Participants will be able to perform tasks both on the sites of the action in Russia and other countries, and online, according to the website of the World Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots.

As part of the action, it is planned to open up to 12,000 sites in all Russian regions and many other countries. The tasks  will also be avialable on the Victory Dictation website. Participants will be offered 25 questions, 20 of them will touch upon issues of military history, and 5 tasks will touch on regional topics.

It is reported that the list includes questions about the 1st year of the war and anniversaries of outstanding Soviet commanders Georgy Zhukov and Konstantin Rokossovsky. Four special questions will appear in the assignments prepared for residents of the CIS countries, Europe, Asia, the USA and Canada.

Not only Russians and compatriots, but also foreigners were invited to participate in the action. Traditionally, the Victory Museum will become the main site.

The questions were prepared by specialists from the Russian Historical Society (RIO), the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO) and the Russian State University for the Humanities (RGGU).
