Russian Sputnik V has become the most recognizable vaccine against coronavirus infection in other countries, RIA Novosti reports. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by YouGov from the UK in developing countries.

Seven out of ten respondents (74%) know what Sputnik V is. More than 9,000 people took part in the survey. Among them are residents of Serbia, Mexico, Brazil, Vietnam, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates and other countries. Their number of inhabitants exceeds two billion people, that is, about a quarter of the world's population.

More than 50% of the study participants named Russia the most trusted country of vaccine production. Russia is ahead of the United States and Great Britain in this indicator, they are in 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
