The role of compatriots in preserving the historical truth was discussed at the round table. The discussion took place on March 18 in Israel. It was held online at the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Tel Aviv, according to the website of the Moscow Compatriot House. Broadcasting in a live format, in addition to Israel, united Russia and Belarus. The conference was timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.

Ambassadors of the Russian Federation and Belarus to Israel Anatoly Viktorov and Yevgeny Vorobyov, leaders of compatriots' organizations, public figures, veterans and many others joined the forum participants.

The speakers noted that attempts to falsify history in different countries are being made more and more often, and this is happening at the highest level. They are sure that today it is no longer enough to simply debunk the myths and fables about the Second World War, which are being promoted by some partners in the West. It's time to be proactive, to create your own informational reasons.
The forum discussed in detail plans to convey to the Israeli public the historical truth and undistorted facts about the Second World War.

The on-line conference at the Russian House was timed to coincide with the start of the historical documentary exhibition “We Remember. 75 years of Victory over Nazism. "
