Documentaries on Russian Orthodox Church to be translated into Hindi and Malayalam

Hindi and Malayalam speakers of India will be able to learn more about the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC). It is planned that documentaries about the Russian Orthodox Church will be translated into these languages, the website of the ROC reports. Films dedicated to the Malankara Church will be released in Russian as well.

The documentaries to be shown to Indian and Russian audiences. This was agreed upon by the members of the working group coordinating cooperation between the two churches. The meeting was held online. Its participants noted the importance of expanding interaction in the information space.

Malankara Church is one of the six "pre-Chalcedonian" churches that refuse to recognize the fourth Chalcedonian and subsequent Ecumenical Councils that took place in 451. It exists in India, the language of church services is most often the Malayalam language. The founder of the Malankara Church is the Apostle Thomas.
