Tours of Russian and foreign theaters to take place in all regions of Russia

The Ministry of Culture has prepared an all-Russian tour and concert plan that unites leading Russian theaters and other creative groups. The department said that the tour and concert plan was created for the first time in the past 30 years. According to experts, the plan was formed according to uniform and transparent rules.

The plan is divided into two major areas. The theatrical part is called "Big Tour". In the secondpart, state national teams are gathered, it will be held under the name "We are Russia".

According to the Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, more than 500 applications have been received to support touring activities. She called this a record figure. 
Support will also be provided to Russian-language theaters operating in the near and far abroad, preserving the Russian culture and the Russian language. In addition, the Vakhtangov Theater will visit Uzbekistan this year. The Obraztsov Puppet theater  is awaited by the audience in Tajikistan, and the Satyricon theater will go to Belarus.

Olga Lyubimova also added that this year the department will support tours of private theaters.

In total, in 2021, 250 theatrical and 26 national groups will take part in touring projects, their performances will be seen by spectators in all Russian regions.
