The first batch of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine has arrived in the Republic of San Marino, TASS reports.

The Republic of San Marino has become the 30th state in the world to recognize the effectiveness of the Russian drug for the prevention of coronavirus infection. Its use was previously approved by local authorities. According to them, only 15% of the need for doses for immunization of the population should be provided at the expense of the Russian vaccine.

At the moment, Sputnik V is also registered in Russia, Belarus, Argentina, Bolivia, Serbia, Algeria, Palestine, Venezuela, Paraguay, Turkmenistan, Hungary, UAE, Iran, Republic of Guinea, Tunisia, Armenia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Republika Srpska ( Entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Lebanon, Myanmar, Pakistan, Mongolia, Bahrain, Montenegro, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Gabon, San Marino, Ghana, Kyrgyzstan and Guyana.
