Actors from Nice join Association of Russian Theaters Abroad

Tete-a-Tete theater from Nice, producing performances in Russian and participating in international theater festivals, has joined the Association of Workers of Russian Theaters Abroad. The theater includes 65 actors, the association's website reports.

The theater, directed by Natalia Kokushkina, has existed since 2014. During the first 4 years of its existence, the theater works as a school of additional education, but later became an independent organization. All performances are staged in Russian, Tet-a-Tete puts on works of both world classics and contemporary writers and playwrights.

The theater was created in order to instill in the participants and spectators a love for the Russian language and Russian culture. The troupe includes representatives of five age groups; children from four years old get their first developmental and stage experience here. The teaching staff of the theater has a professional education.

Over the years, the theater from Nice has taken part in several international theater festivals in France, Germany and Italy.
