Almost the same volume of Sputnik V vaccine can be produced at Indian production sites as in Russia, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper writes.

According to Kirill Dmitriev, who heads the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), an active search for sites for the production of the Russian drug in other countries continues. There are already agreements with Belarusian, Iranian, South Korean, Chinese, Brazilian and Kazakh partners.

Work is actively underway in India with Dr. Reddy's, one of the largest biopharmaceutical companies in the country. Kirill Dmitriev called India the most important partner, as India will become the world production center for the Russian vaccine.

The submission of documents for the approval of the vaccine in India will take place in the next couple of months, Kirill Dmitriev promised. After that, the supply of the drug to the country will begin.

Earlier, the head of the RDIF said that foreign production sites will provide the drug to the population of foreign countries. And Russian citizens will be vaccinated with a vaccine released in Russia.
