NY holidays celebrated by children of compatriots in Hamburg and Saarbrücken

The unfavorable epidemiological situation and restrictions aimed at counteracting the spread of the pandemic did not prevent young Russian compatriots living in Germany from celebrating the new year.

In Hamburg, several small matinees were organized for the pupils of the Smart School, according to the Russkoe Pole newspaper. According to Alla Kazantseva, who heads the educational institution, it turned out to be a little more trouble in the conditions of the pandemic, but the holidays brought no less joy.

Kids aged 2 to 7 years old played games, sang songs in Russian, and danced in circles. Three groups of junior schoolchildren took part in the quiz “What? Where? When?".

Teenagers between the ages of 12 and 15 were invited to a New Year's party. 

The Elves Art School, which operates in Saarbrücken, also congratulated its students. Ded Moroz and Snow Maiden brought gifts, and the children took part in the New Year's performance.
