The competition for young readers "I have no time for toys now ...", timed to coincide with the 115th anniversary of the outstanding Soviet poetess, author of many famous children's poems Agnia Barto, was announced by the Center of Russian Culture in the Latvian city of Daugavpils. The competition will be held online, according to the center's Facebook page.

According to the organizers, children aged 3 to 5 years old will be able to take part in the competition. Videos in which the contestants read the works of Agnia Barto in Russian are accepted until mid-February.

Many works of the poetess ("Our Tanya is crying loudly", "They dropped the bear on the floor", "The clubfoot bear is walking through the forest" and others) Russian and Russian-speaking children from many countries remember them throughout their lives.
