Open online lesson in Russian for high school students held in Mumbai

The Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Mumbai organized an online lesson for Indian schoolchildren studying Russian. The lesson was attended by students of the eleventh and twelfth grades of a college in the city of Latour, according to the Rossotrudnichestvo website.

The head of the Russian language courses at the RCSC in Mumbai, Vidya Svarge Madane, used Druzhba Russian language textbook, written with the participation of Rossotrudnichestvo specialists.

Conducting such a lesson became an important event in the college and the city, the head of the educational community Latura Gopal Rao Patil, representatives of the management and teaching staff of the college joined the lesson. 

The head of the RCSC Sergei Fandeev, who opened the meeting, spoke about the possibilities of admission to Russian universities and employment for Indian students studying Russian. The parties agreed that such lessons will become traditional.
