Siyamend Kachmaz, a correspondent from Turkey, who has been working in Russia for many years, expressed his deep gratitude to the Russian doctors. According to him, they helped him free of charge when he contracted the coronavirus, RIA Novosti reports.

On the air of the CNN Turk TV channel, the journalist spoke highly of the professionalism of Russian doctors. After feeling unwell, he decided to do a coronavirus test, which turned out to be positive. Employees of the operational headquarters in the Russian capital immediately contacted him, a doctor was sent to him, and after examination he called an ambulance. The journalist was taken to a hospital in Khimki, where he remained for twelve days and was treated completely free of charge.

Siyamend Kachmaz said that his lungs were almost half affected. “The doctors treated me in full, they did their job free of charge, professionally and conscientiously,” he stressed. And most of all he was surprised that during the entire treatment, no one asked if he had insurance and what citizenship he had. “The dedication of the Russian doctors impressed me, I owe them a lot,” the journalist said.

The journalist sent words of sincere gratitude to the doctors of the Khimki hospital and all Russian doctors, and also sent a letter of thanks to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
