Children from Istanbul met with Russian language ambassador

The meeting of children living in Istanbul with the winner of the "Ambassadors of the Russian language in the world" international volunteer program Maria Sereykina took place on January 13 in the format of a part-time interactive lesson as part of the celebration of the old New Year. Thanks to the broadcast on three Instagram pages, more than 100 children and parents were able to join the meeting.

During the meeting, the children learned about the cultural traditions of Russia and folk crafts. There was also a tea party with treats. Due to quarantine restrictions, the lesson was held in person for a small audience of children. The webcast expanded the number of participants.

The organizers of the meeting were the Zvezdochki Russian Language Center and the Agency for Organization of Events Mutlu gunum, informational support was provided by the Website of Specialists and Personal Brands Zdes Vse. The lesson turned out to be informative and interesting. 

On the eve of the New Year, a festive carnival was held at the Russian Language Center in Istanbul with the participation of Santa Claus. About 50 compatriots from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and other countries joined the online broadcast of the carnival.
