Russians leave flowers outside the Indonesian embassy as a sign of sympathy and memory of those killed in the Boeing 737-524 plane crash, TASS reports.

The plane, which was flying from Jakarta to the city of Pantianak, crashed on January 9. It crashed into the ocean just minutes after taking off from the airport in the Indonesian capital. There were more than 60 people on board, including 50 passengers and 12 crew members. The participants in the rescue operation found fragments of human bodies in the water.

A large bouquet of flowers appeared at the entrance to the building of the diplomatic mission on Novokuznetskaya Street on Sunday, which was placed under the embassy's sign.
