Student of Mordovian University created social network for Africans

Jean Deco, a student at Mordovia State University, became the developer of a social network for African people. In the first weeks of the work of the African Space social network, about 4,000 users have registered in it, according to the World Association of Graduates of Higher Educational Institutions on Facebook.

In Mordovia, Jean Deco studies electronics and nanoelectronics. At the university, he prepares for design work to modernize existing electrical energy converters, create new equipment for automating technological processes. Website design is the student's hobby.

The number of African students in Russian universities is increasing. In the outgoing year, 1,843 students from African countries entered Russian universities on free quotas. In 2021, the number of seats has increased by almost 80.
