The "Out of time and space - flying around the Earth - 60 years in space" project was launched before the New Year. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic on its Facebook page. The project is dedicated to the anniversary of the space flight of Yuri Gagarin and German Titov. The international educational project brought together Russian and Czech schoolchildren.

The initiators and organizers were the Russian research company RISKSAT and the Czech International Cultural Institute.

The project started online. Schoolchildren from Moscow, Moscow region, Tula, Kaluga, Yakutia and Chuvashia and their peers from the Czech Republic met at the round table.

The Russian participants spoke about the culture and traditions of their regions. The teachers were introduced to educational institutions where there are areas related to space research. Czech schoolchildren shared their impressions of their participation in the aerospace session of the Artek International Children's Center. They also presented the “Good afternoon, Major Gagarin!” song. It was written by Czech authors J. Gnilichka and P. Patsl and performed for the first time on April 12, 1961, on live television.
