Russian compatriots abroad chose best Snow Maiden

Young participants from 7 to 14 years old from Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands and Egypt became the winners of the competition Snow Maiden of the Year 2021 INTERNATIONAL competition. The Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in Portugal held a competition with the support of the Russian Embassy in Portugal and the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office, according to the Ded Moroz INTERNATIONAL page on Facebook.

The victory in the competition, which was held online, went to eight-year-old Ilaria from Italy; they also named "1st Vice-Snegurochka" and "2nd Vice-Snegurochka". In addition, awards were presented in the following nominations: Miss Audience Choice, Miss Friendship, Miss Russian Style, Miss Smile, Miss Fantasy and Miss Charm. The winners were determined by voting.

The competition started in early November. The participants were offered to send the organizers a photo in a New Year's costume, as well as a video with a poem reading, a song or dance.
