The seminar was held on the online platform of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). Rector Anatoly Torkunov and other representatives of the university spoke at the meeting.

Konstantin Volkov, director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris, was one of the experts at the seminar. He told the audience about the results of the online forum of Russian schools in France, which was attended by representatives of 25 schools from 17 cities.

It was noted that France is one of the few countries where Russian is studied not only by students of higher educational institutions, but also by schoolchildren. The Russian language in France is taught in 200 state secondary educational institutions. Russian classes are open to junior, middle and senior students.
