Residents of Finland turned to the Tver region for help in finding the relatives of the Soviet soldier.

They urge everyone who knows something about the fate of the relatives of the Red Army soldier Ivan Sukharev to respond. Karel by nationality, he was born on September 15, 1908, lived in the Maksatikhinsky district of the Kalinin region. The names of his parents are known. Mother's name was Anna Grigorievna, father's name was Vasily. The soldier's wife is Anastasia Yakovlevna Sukhareva.

Ivan Sukharev was taken prisoner during the Great Patriotic War and was in Finland as a prisoner of war. He worked on a farm in the Finnish town of Humppila. There he met a Finnish girl, and in the spring of 1944 their daughter was born.

She and her other relatives would like to establish contacts with Russian relatives.

Ivan Sukharev returned to the Soviet Union after his release. It was not possible to find any information about what happened to him in the future. And his daughter's mother passed away a year ago.

Everyone who knows about Ivan Sukharev or his family is encouraged to write to Matti Salonen or Natalia Chernova.
