One of the schools in the capital of Nepal was named after Russian Prince Alexander Nevsky, according to the Rossotrudnichestvo website. The name of the Russian saint and great commander will be borne by the educational institution New Sumnima English School. For many residents of Nepal, it is precisely the acquaintance with the personality of the holy prince, the defender of the Fatherland, that will be the first step on the long path of comprehending the Russian language and Russian culture.

Russian language courses will open at the school from the beginning of the new academic year. All the necessary materials have already been handed over to the educational institution for classes.

It is planned that in the future, pupils of the Nepalese school and pupils of the school at the Russian Embassy will participate in joint activities.

In the future, a board of trustees will be created at the school. It will control the learning process and the selection of the most talented students, as well as recommend them for possible admission to Russian universities.
