Young Russian compatriots living in Spain took part in the dramatic reading competition. The contest called "To remember ..." was timed to the anniversary of the beginning of the Soviet counteroffensive near Moscow, which took place on December 5, 1941. The organizers of the tournament were the Union of Organizations of Russian Compatriots of Spain and Andorra (UORC), the Youth Council of (UORC) of Spain and Andorra, the ESSR and TRANSVERSAL associations.

The competition was held online. The kids of all ages represented the regions of Spain. They were united by love for the Russian language, Russian literature, respect for national history.

The schoolchildren demonstrated their abilities and skills, it was very useful for them to hear how the same literary lines sounded differently. In addition, the competition allowed them to expand their acquaintance with the works written during the war.

Oleg Dikusar from Denia became the unconditional winner. Each student received professional recommendations to continue to develop.

The organizers wanted the younger generation to develop a sense of patriotism. In addition, the competition helps to support talented children and discover new names. It is aimed at preserving national spiritual traditions, continuity and communication between generations.

The competition consisted of three rounds. In the first it was necessary to read poetry, in the second - excerpts from prose works, in the third - fragments from journalism. Those who got the most points made it to the finals.
