Dozens of poetry and essays were submitted by Russian-speaking authors from different cities of Australia and New Zealand to the Oceania Speaks Russian Literary Competition. The competition was organized for the 70th anniversary of the Russian newspaper Edinenie in Australia.
The winners and holders of honorable mentions were determined in the "Poetry" and "Prose" nominations. The editorial office reported that the works of the laureates would be published in the newspaper.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to the participants for the submitted works, saying that "the Russian language in our area lives, develops, creates and breathes." The editors emphasized that the competition provided a platform for experienced and novice authors to address the readers.

The literary competition was held for the 3rd time.
