Russian Language Week ends in Berlin

The traditional Russian Language Week has ended in Berlin. For more than ten years it has been bringing together Russian teachers from Germany and their colleagues from other countries. This year the forum was held for the 11th time, but due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the entire program was held online, Rossotrudnichestvo reports.

The organizers are the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin, the Association of Russianists of Berlin, the Institute of Applied Technology and Economics (Berlin), the Humboldt University with the support of the Russian Embassy, ​​the Berlin Senate and the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

Applications for participation were received from all over Germany, as well as from Russia, Italy and France. More than 100 people joined the events on different days. Among them are school teachers, teachers of higher educational institutions, educators of bilingual kindergartens.

The main topic of the week was “Thematic diversity as a motivating factor in the study of the Russian language in educational institutions in Germany”.

Over the years, the Russian Language Week has formed its audience and acquired regular lecturers. It has also become an excellent platform for the exchange of experience among Russianists from different countries, the creation of international teams for solving scientific or methodological problems.
