Two anniversaries of famous Russian poets will be celebrated by Russian compatriots living in Italy at a literary soiree. It is scheduled for Friday, November 27, and will be dedicated to the work of Afanasy Fet and Alexander Blok. Others are welcome to participate, as the evening will be held online. It is organized by the Nadezhda Borodina Russian Center in Merano, according to the website of the Moscow House of Compatriot.

The host of the evening is a teacher of Russian language and literature with 28 years of experience, a graduate of the philological faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University Olga Zolotareva.

Together with her, the participants will discuss what these poets have in common, what role their works played in Russian literature. The presenter will also help to stop confusing Fet with Tyutchev, and Blok with Gumilyov, and will talk about many other things.

The second part will turn into a poetic battle: everyone will read their favorite poem by one of the poets.
