Performers from more than 40 countries to take part in Moscow meets friends Festival

More than 1,000 young performers, readers, actors and artists from 55 regions of Russia and 40 countries will take part in the Moscow Meets Friends International Festival, which opens on November 25. The festival, created by the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation with the participation of the authorities of Russia and Moscow, the United Nations and the Russian Commission for UNESCO, will take place for the 17th time, according to the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper. The cultural forum is dedicated to the anniversary of the victory in WWII.

Festival events will be held in a mixed format, some of the concerts are scheduled online, and some of the performers will perform live. The festival will be opened by the renowned Moscow Virtuosi ensemble under the direction of Vladimir Spivakov. The concert will take place on the stage of the House of Music, but without spectators.

Young participants will be able to showcase their vocal and instrumental talents, as well as performances by orchestras, art exhibitions and circus teams. A new category has been added to this year's event - artistic word. Nine concerts have been organized in leading museums and concert halls in Moscow, master classes are also planned.
