Australian teachers shared their experience in teaching Russian

The Our Children conference took place at the Russian Consulate General in Sydney. Educators and parents discussed how to awaken and develop an interest in the Russian language and culture in children living outside of Russia. As part of the seminar, experts shared practical materials on the launch, development and support of the Russian language, Rustalk TV company reports on Facebook.

The conference was held as part of a series of educational events to support and promote the Russian language and culture of Russia. Events are held during November in full-time and online formats with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo. At the moment, more than 220 teachers and experts from Russia, Australia and 15 more countries of the near and far abroad took part in the educational cycle.

Consul General of Russia Igor Arzhaev supported the holding of the conference and proposed to organize similar meetings in the future. According to the diplomat, Russian teachers working abroad have a lot to discuss, since they work in the special conditions of a different language environment.

According to the organizers of the conference, it was conceived as a platform for communication between teachers. The event was aimed at sharing experience, best practices, and innovative approaches in the field of Russian culture and education.
