Russian compatriots in Croatia announce start of Christmas contests

Several creative contests dedicated to the upcoming New Year and Christmas have been launched by the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots of Croatia (CCORC). Children and adults were invited to write stories about the holidays, as well as create crafts and New Year's decorations, according to the culture department of Croatia's CCORC on Facebook.

Entries for the online competition of literary works are accepted until December 15. Stories, fairy tales, essays about winter holidays are expected from children and adults, works in Russian and Croatian languages ​​will be accepted.

The winners will be announced on December, 21 in four age categories. In addition to the selection of the best works by the members of the competent jury, a vote will take place on Facebook, according to the results of which the audience will find its winner.

A creative competition will also be held for the authors of drawings and crafts dedicated to the New Year and Christmas.
