The quest interactive map of the world dedicated to the traditions of celebrating the New Year and Christmas will appear as a result of an international competition, which has become a joint project of organizations from Russia and Germany, Bilingual-online.net reports.

The organizers of the competition are the International Methodological Council for Multilingualism and Intercultural Communication at the IKaRuS e.V. from Germany, as well as the Rostov Institute for Advanced Studies and Professional Retraining of Educators, the Yelabuga Institute of the Kazan Federal University and the Keepers of Times non-profit organization. The organizing committee included teachers and scientists from Russia, Germany and Spain.

Everyone was invited to participate in the competition, without restrictions on age and country of residence. The language of the competition is Russian, but works are accepted in other languages, native to the participants. The organizers are waiting for photos showing city sights, monuments, family heirlooms or Christmas tree decorations.

The competitor must attach to the photograph a short story about the object or subject and come up with a question to it that would test the curiosity and attentiveness of the participants. The works will be included in the quest map.

Pictures with descriptions are accepted from November 15 to December 15 at the e-mail address: ITChristmass@gmail.com, the winners will be announced on January 7, they will receive a cash prize.
