The Russian Orthodox Church received the temple of the Apostle Bartholomew in Granada (Spain), Interfax reports. The building was handed over to the parish of the Moscow Patriarchate by the Catholic Archdiocese.

The issue of transferring the temple building located in the city center was discussed by the Archbishop of Madrid and Lisbon Nestor and the Archbishop of Granada Francisco Javier Martinez Fernandez.

After the service, timed to coincide with the feast of the Intercession of the Virgin, Archbishop Nestor met with the parishioners. They discussed the development of the parish and the move to a new building.
