Largest RSL testing took place in Thessaloniki

More than 200 people have successfully passed tests in Russian as a foreign language in Thessaloniki. The representative office of St. Petersburg State University in Greece was the organizer. It operates at the Russian Word Center for Russian Language and Culture, according to the website of the St. Petersburg State University. According to the organizers, this test session was the largest in Europe.

According to Dmitry Ptyushkin, Director of the SPbU Language Testing Center, Greece is one of the leading countries in the world where the test in Russian as a foreign language is taken at the highest level. 

Typically, up to 90% of participants cope with testing tasks. This time, almost all passed successfully - 98% of participants. Those who did not have enough points to successfully pass the exam have already signed up for a retake in the winter session. It is scheduled for February.

Residents of many Greek cities came to the exam.
 
A thousand people take the RSL test annually in Greece. By the end of 2021, they plan to increase this figure by one and a half times.
