Konchalovsky's feature included in Tokyo Film Festival's program

The Japanese public will see the Russian film Dear Comrades!, TASS reports. The work of the famous director Andrei Konchalovsky will be screened at the Tokyo Film Festival.

The film forum will be held in the capital of Japan for the 33rd time. It will open on October 31.

The film was included in the World Focus section along with some more features by European and Asian directors.

As Russkiy Mir reported earlier, Dear Comrades! was honored with a special jury prize at the Venice Film Festival. The film is based on a real story, the feature tells about the unrest of Novocherkassk workers in 1962, where workers were shot during a strike.

The Russian public will see the film at the end of autumn. The main role was played by the director's wife Yulia Vysotskaya.
