WHO intends to promote Russian language and COVID-19 vaccine

The World Health Organization (WHO) plans to develop cooperation with Russia, RIA Novosti reports. According to Hans Kluge, head of the European branch of the international organization, cooperation will be strengthened in all areas, including the popularization of the Russian language and the promotion of the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V vaccine.

He spoke about this during his visit to Moscow on the eve of September 23, during a meeting with the head of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. The WHO representative expressed gratitude to the Russian President for the support of the organization.

The WHO representative explained that this is his first official visit to the country as Regional Director. It means a commitment to expanding cooperation with Russia at the national, regional and global levels.
