The Russian Dove of Peace action, which is held annually on the eve of the International Day of Peace, will take place on September 21 in different countries of the world. The organizers called on Russians and compatriots from different countries to join the movement and hold events in support of peace and conflict-free resolution of all problems, the website of the Heirs of Victory international union reports.

The organizers of the action are the Heirs of Victory and the Coordinating Council of the International Union Commonwealth of Public Organizations of Veterans (Pensioners) of Independent States. According to the organizers, the action, held in the year of the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, is of particular importance for the consolidation of compatriots around the ideas of preserving peace and truth about the war.

Over the years of the action, hundreds of events have been held in dozens of states. Russian compatriots from China, Cuba, Cambodia, Mongolia, Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic and other countries launched balloons and paper doves as a sign of support for peace, held concerts and exhibitions.
