The representatives of universities discussed these and other joint projects during a teleconference, Nizhniy Now reports.

The president of Nikkeidai, Asuka Tsuzuki, spoke about the prospects and demand for Russian language courses in Japan. According to her, at the moment there is great interest in Russia in the country, and President Vladimir Putin is popular with the people of Japan.

NSLU became the first Russian university with which Nikkeidai signed an agreement on the implementation of exchange programs for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students. According to the document, annually up to 10 Nizhny Novgorod students will be able to study at the Japanese partner university. The parties agreed that due to the pandemic, students will be taught remotely for some time.

Exchanges of teachers and scientists, scientific materials and academic information, joint conferences and scientific projects are also planned within the agreement.
