No influence from outside can destroy the cooperation between Moscow and Beijing in strategic directions, the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Wang Yi is sure. He said this after his trip to Russia, RIA Novosti reports.

The minister called the unity of the two countries "solid as a rock." The friendship of the two states is inviolable, he said. In his opinion, the current situation in the international arena is changing very quickly. Therefore, the strengthening of relations between Russia and China acquires even greater significance for maintaining stability and security not only in the region, but throughout the world.

Wang Yi clarified that he met with his colleague Sergei Lavrov for the first time since the start of the pandemic. They agreed to develop relations and respond to international and regional challenges.

China and Russia have already become a key force that brings stability to international relations, the minister recalled. He also said that some countries used psychological terror, trying to realize their own goals, interfere in the internal affairs of other states. Their activities are aimed at containing and putting pressure on Moscow and Beijing, thus undermining stability.

China and Russia are not going to stop in the development of future-oriented bilateral relations, the minister concluded. Together with the international community, they will continue to build a system of interaction on the basis of mutual respect, justice and cooperation beneficial to both parties, concluded Wang Yi.
