Russia is the 40th among other countries in terms of recorded cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 people, RIA Novosti reports. According to Anna Popova, who heads Rospotrebnadzor, Russia ranks 106th in the world in terms of mortality.

The department explained that in some Russian regions antibodies to coronavirus infection were found in almost 50% of the population.

During the summer, 74,000 people were examined in 26 regions. As a result, it turned out that the indicators vary greatly - depending on the place of residence of people.
