07.09.2020

The annual city reading competition was held in Perth, Australia, and the Mosaic Russian school became the organizer of the creative competition. The competition was attended by 24 readers. As part of the competition, a concert was held with the participation of young artists, the Council of Russian Compatriots of Australia reports on Facebook.

Children read poetry and learned about the life and work of Ivan Bunin, whose 150th birthday will be celebrated in October. The competition is very popular with Russian-speaking children of Perth and their parents. It encourages children to study the work of Russian poets and learn poetry by heart, gives the practice of public speaking, and also allows them to get acquainted and communicate with compatriots.

The Mosaic school has big plans for September - the Russian language competition, children's performances with songs and dances at a city concert, shooting a video, and a business camp will also start working.
