WorldSkills Russia National Final became largest in history of tournament

The final competitions of the WorldSkills Russia National Championship started the day before, on September 6. They are held in Moscow, according to the Russian Education website. This year the tournament has become the 8th in a row. At the opening, the contest set a world record for the most massive greeting.

The WorldSkills Russia Final has been held once a year, starting in 2013. It is part of the Education National Project.

In 2020, the competition is attended by almost 3,000 people who represent many Russian regions and more than 25 countries.

The WorldSkills Russia national final this year has become the largest in its history. The opening ceremony was broadcast live online.

The final round will unite competitions in almost 130 competencies, juniors are offered more than 70 competencies. They are divided into 7 blocks: construction and construction technologies; information and communication technologies; creativity and design; production and engineering technology; services sector; transport and logistic; education.

The results of the tournament will be announced on September 21.
