The Day of Russian Culture is celebrated in the Lithuanian capital today, September 5, the Obzor newspaper writes. The festival has been held for almost 20 years in a row, during its existence it has become a wonderful tradition. Both residents of Vilnius and guests of the city are eagerly awaiting him. This holiday has already become the 18th in a row.

According to the organizers, this is one of the most ambitious projects of the multinational city. It consolidates those who preserve the culture and traditions of their people and pass on respect for their roots to the younger generation. Parents with children, groups of young people come to the holiday, and everyone finds there what they are interested in.

In addition, the audience is friendly and warmly welcomes artists regardless of their nationality.

The holiday is held with the financial support of the Russian embassy and the Moscow government.

This year the brass band of the Vilnius Santaros school, Alla Dukhova's studio Todes, the Angel Project, Fantasy and Helios groups will appear on the stage.

The festive atmosphere will be created by the Vereya folklore ensemble and the Zabava ensemble of the Russian song of the Trakai Palace of Culture. Many other creative groups and performers will also take to the stage.
