Some countries are starting to gradually restore air traffic, RIA Novosti reports. In particular, Warsaw excluded Russia from the list of countries with which air traffic is prohibited.

After a six-month hiatus, the Moldovan authorities reopened the border to Russians. The National Emergency Public Health Commission has authorized the restoration of contacts with Russia and several other countries. The list of countries in the "red zone" with which contacts are still prohibited includes more than 50 states. Among them are Romania, Ukraine, Spain, France, Israel and a number of others.

Russia and Belarus have also agreed on the phased resumption of transport communication, the specific dates have not yet been determined.

It is expected that passenger flights to some of the CIS countries will reopen in early autumn.

Russia resumed international flights from August 1. The planes went abroad from Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don. The first countries with which air traffic was being restored were Great Britain, Turkey, Tanzania and Switzerland.
