World map of Yesenin places was replenished with data about US

The World Map of Yesenin Places project is continued. The new edition is timed to the anniversary of Sergei Yesenin, it is dedicated to the journey of the famous poet. It was prepared by the Yesenin Museum-Reserve with the assistance of the Ryazan State University. 

The first part of European Vector was released three years ago. The second part is called American Vector. It tells about the stay of Yesenin and his wife, the famous dancer Isadora Duncan, overseas in the early 1920s.

The book brings together not only a detailed description of the route of their trips, but also geographical maps of that era, a modern travel guide and multimedia materials.

The poet spent four months in the United States. He accompanied his wife on tour. During his stay in the United States, Yesenin visited a dozen American cities. Most of them are located on the east coast. The result of his trip was a publicistic essay "Iron Mirgorod", many of his impressions were included in the The Country of Scoundrels poem.
