Russian and foreign singers to perform at Russian Field Festival

Artistic groups from the regions of Russia and from abroad will take part in the final and gala concert of the 9th Russian Field Festival of Slavic Art, which will be held on August 29. The performers will thank the doctors invited to the festival for their selfless work during the pandemic, according to the website of the mayor of Moscow.

The final concert will take place in the building of the Moscow Gzhel dance theater, large concerts and the awarding ceremony will be broadcasted online. This year's festival is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The organizers note that the festival will become a record one in terms of the number and diversity of participants.

The organizing committee of the Russian Field received more than 2,000 applications from dozens of regions of Russia, as well as Austria, Poland, Estonia, Belarus and other countries. The jury will name the winners and laureates in six categories, the best choirs, orchestras and dance ensembles, as well as folk masters and tourist ethno routes will be determined.
