TV channel about Russia launched in Serbia

TV programs about the sights of Russia, as well as films about the historical relations between the peoples of Russia and Serbia, will be included in the broadcasting network of the new Serbian TV channel - Balkan trip. The channel will be viewed by residents of the entire Balkan region, TASS reports.

The head of the state network of TV channels (Arena channels group), Neboisha Zhugich, said that the sights and history of Russia will become the central themes of the channel. 

In particular, programs and films about famous Russians, including those who have left their mark on the history of Serbia, will be broadcasted by the channel. According to the director of the network of TV channels, with the help of such programs, it will be possible to show the long history of relations between the peoples of the two countries. The premiere of a documentary film about the Immortal Regiment movement was recently shown on the new TV channel with great success.

The appearance of the TV channel may accelerate the growth of the tourist flow from Serbia to Russia. Earlier it was reported that the number of Serbian tourists in Russia was increasing every year by 10%. The number of Russian tourists in Serbia is also growing. 

It is reported that Arena channels group actively cooperates with the Russian Embassy in Serbia, as well as with the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Belgrade.
