The international festival and competition of children's songs has started to accept applications. It is the 3rd time that the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the capital of Tanzania is holding it, the agency's website reports. The organizers are the National Council of Arts (BASATA) and the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in Tanzania.

The festival aims to increase motivation to learn the Russian language. It also promotes the acquaintance of the young generation with Russian culture through the most accessible means - a children's song.

Both individual performers and creative teams can compete for the victory. The first qualifying stage will be held online. Everyone is invited to send a video of the performance of two songs in Russian. Depending on the applications submitted, the contestants will perform in different age groups. Videos must be submitted no later than October 3.

The skills and talent of the participants will be evaluated by leading vocal teachers, famous musicians and cultural figures. The best participants will perform at a gala concert scheduled for October 12.
