Together in the 21st Century Festival is taking place in Bulgaria. It was launched on August 20 and is hosted by the Sustainable Development of Bulgaria Foundation. The festival became the 15th in a row, but due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, it had to be held online.

The main goal of the festival is to develop friendly relations between peoples of different countries. It is also aimed at promoting cultural exchanges and cooperation, popularizing cultural traditions. Also, young participants can take part in a competition, which bears the name of the famous Bulgarian singer Biser Kirov.

According to the organizers, one can join the festival until the last day of its holding, it will end on August 30.

Applications for participation in the cultural event were received from young performers and creative teams from Israel, the United States, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Russia, Germany, Turkey, other republics of the former Soviet Union and European countries. The participants and organizers of the forum were congratulated by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bulgaria Anatoly Makarov, Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Vladimir Kochin and others.

Every day of the festival program was dedicated to the culture of individual countries. The forum began with the Day of Bulgaria and continued with the Day of Armenia and Russia. The final point will be put by the Day of Planet Earth and the Day of Peace.

This year the project celebrates its 20th anniversary. It brings together an international competition of the same name for schoolchildren, a scientific forum, conferences and seminars for teachers, exhibitions, presentations, book publishing and much more.
