The number of Russian citizens who returned home via export flights during the last week is about 4,000, TASS reports.

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that the work aimed at assisting in the return of Russians to their homeland continues. According to her, today the ministry organizes targeted flights.

The total number of Russians who have returned home reaches almost 300,000 people. Flights are in demand, and this is against the backdrop of the fact that regular flights have already resumed on some destinations, Zakharova added.

By the end of the week, it is planned to take out the Russians who remain in France, Japan, India, Cyprus, South Korea, Israel and some other countries. The organization of an export flight from China to Russia is coming to an end.

Earlier, Russian president Vladimir Putin promised that Russia would continue to export compatriots from abroad. All safety measures and sanitary rules of the regions people return to will be observed.
