The international volunteer camp is going to take place online this year, TASS reports. Due to restrictions aimed at combating the spread of coronavirus, the organizers were forced to abandon the previous plan, explained Olga Yarilova, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. According to her, the number of listeners should exceed 2,000 people.

The sites of the Heritage Volunteers School will open in many regions this year. The large-scale educational project will cover Vladimir, Pskov, Oryol, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Saratov and Leningrad regions. It will start at the end of summer and will continue until November.

The Heritage Volunteer School brings together people who are interested in the preservation of historical heritage. It is organized by the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments.

The International Volunteer Camp is a social project that lasts two to three weeks and takes place in almost every country in the world. The project team includes from 10 to 20 representatives from different countries, no more than two people from each country.
